It Wasn't Easy - CeCe Winans Mp3 Free Download & (Meaning)

So many Christians today think that that serving God is bed of Roses, after all we usually attend Church services and read the Bible as well.

Well, it’s never easy serving the Lord. There are times when there won’t be any money left with you but you to attend service without any offering in your hand. Sometimes there won’t be availability of food to eat.

In some occasions, your spouse or families will be against you just because of your faith in God. At times people around you will despise without obvious reasons.

Just because of your love for God. My dear it’s not easy, you have to endure pains when serving but it worth it. Remember, Jesus Christ went through pains just to save us.

However, let me break down the meaning of “It Wasn’t Easy” by CeCe Winans in my personal view.

This song is all about what Jesus went through to save us. The title says it all: “It wasn’t easy.” CeCe Winans is reminding us that the price Jesus paid for our salvation was painful and hard but He did it anyway, because of His deep love for us.

Here, she’s saying that we sometimes forget how much Jesus suffered on the cross. It wasn’t quick, it wasn’t painless and it definitely wasn’t simple.

He was beaten, mocked, nailed to the cross and left to die. And the sad part is He didn’t deserve any of it.

He was perfect and without sin. But He chose to take our place, to carry the weight of our sins, so that we could be free.

The line “Don’t think for a moment I never felt the pain” is Jesus saying to us, “I felt every bit of what I went through. I wasn’t numb or distant. I felt it and I did it for you.”

So this song helps us understand that salvation (the gift of being saved and forgiven by God) didn’t come cheap. It cost Jesus His life. But He went through all of that because He loves us that much.

CeCe is also showing us how grateful we should be. When we realize what Jesus endured, it makes us want to say, “Thank You, Lord. I won’t take it for granted.” It reminds us to live with appreciation and not forget what it cost Him.

In my conclusion, this song reminds us that grace is free for us but it wasn’t free for Jesus. It cost Him everything. And yet, He still gave it willingly just to save us.

As for me, this song is deep but also really beautiful. It helps us pause, reflect and be thankful for the sacrifice Jesus made for every single one of us. Hallelujah!!!
