ADA EHI - Cheta

ADA EHI – Cheta Meaning

I woke up this very morning with assurance God gave us believers, that He stilll “Jehovah” and there is nothing to hard or late for Him to do.

When I remember what I passed through in life, I have no option than to hold God firm and believing in His unfailling words. In all, God remembered. “Chetam” oh Lord!!1!!!

“Cheta” is a Nigerian powerful gospel song by Ada Ehi. She is a profound Nigerian gospel singer, minister, songwriter, worship leader and record artist.

With that said, “Cheta” is a powerful reminder to trust God and remember His faithfulness. “Cheta” means “remember” in Igbo-Nigerian language.

This song encourages us to reflect on how God has always been there providing strength and hope at the same time. It inspires gratitude and confidence in God’s unchanging love and promises.

Lyrics:

Cheta

Cheta, Cheta

I am God, and I never fail

Cheta, Cheta

Yesterday, today I’m forever the same

Cheta, Cheta

Echezokwala, oh

Cheta, Cheta, remember

Abum abum (Abum Abum)

Abum abum (Abum Abum)

I am Jehovah (Abum Abum)

And I am Able (Abum Abum)

Is anything too hard for me?

Is it ever too late for me?

Whatever it is, Abum

I’m forever the same

Cheta

I am God, and I never fail

Cheta, Cheta

Yesterday, today, I’m forever the same

Cheta, Cheta

Echezokwala, oh

Cheta, Cheta, ahh

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (I am)

Who makes dry bones to rise again (I am)

Let there be light in the world again (I am)

Say you can call me (I am, I am)

Who gives the barren a song to sing (I am)

Who makes the dead to rise again (I am)

The first and last beginning and the end

And I’m forever the same

Is anything too hard for me?

Is it ever too late for me?

Whatever it is I am

I’m forever the same

Whatever it is, Abum

Whatever you need, Abum

In every situation I am

Obimo Cheta

I’m bigger than what people say

Obimo Cheta

I’m forever the same

Obimo Cheta

You are not alone

You are not alone

You are not alone

Obimo Cheta

I’m bigger than what people say

Obimo Cheta

I’m forever the same

Obimo Cheta

You are not alone

Cheta, Cheta

I am God, and I never fail

Cheta, Cheta

Yesterday, today, and forever the same

Cheta, Cheta

Echezomena, oh

Cheta, Cheta, Cheta

Echefumena, oh

Cheta, remember

And never forget it at all

……THE END
